Our wooden bread boards are fashioned from originals we discovered in the southern part of Germany in an area called Baden Wurttemberg near Alsace, France. This area of Germany is famous for their version of the Italian Pizza known as the Flammkuchen, which is basically a disc of hand kneaded dough covered with crème fraiche, onions and bacon. The wood boards were used to roll out the dough before placing the pizza in the wood-fired oven. Measures 28"
